Port Forwarding Help?

Port Forwarding Help?
I am trying to set up port forwarding on my Minecraft server, and i followed the steps on portforward.com but my friends still cant connect. I have a static ip, i have my firewall down (just in case) and have double checked the steps on the site. I NEED HELP D:! i have a Cisco E4200 (one the site i used the steps for a E3000, no difference) and this router is Top of The Line for 2011

What OS? When you say firewall off, do you mean a 3rd party firewall or Windows firewall? Lastly, did you check command prompt (ipconfig) to get your local IP (192.168.1.xx)?

Windows XP, Windows Firewall and yes i used it and got my ip 192.168.1.50 after i set it as static before it was 192.168.1.131

Is that the External IP? because i have been telling them to connect to 192.168.1.50
