well im not advertising but uhm minecraft 1.8 is already out the pre-release can be download from
here : http://www.minecraftforum.net/news/220- ... available/ its been updated also the full version of 1.8 came out and the pre-release was updated and it should be good... but here is the problem, idk how you can run the plugins. im trying to found out myself so i guess you can wait on bukkit. :/ but if you like to test it out be my guest.

Ant needs the latest recommended build of craftbukkit to update the server. The actual minecraft.jar isn't useful. Didn't check link. lolololol.

actually that minecraft.jar is no longer nessacary since the full 1.8 has been released yesterday[ and before u ask what i mean by full, i mean actually full full since the second part of 1.8 is now called 1.9]

he meant the minecraft_server.jar
CraftBukkit takes the place of that.
