New Feature Idea

I think that it would be fun to add a !dice feature to the server. For those who don't know, !dice is a command you can type in chat that will generate a random number typically 1-20. For each number, there is a corresponding effect given to the player, which can be good or bad, that lasts until they die. For example, the player can receive half-gravity, double-jump, or 50 HP. But the player can also receive 0.65x speed, 99 damage, a burning effect, which slowly drops their health to 50HP and damages anyone that touches them, or, the player becomes a rocket, flies up in the air, then explodes and dies. Personally, I think it would be a good idea to add this feature, but I could see why it might not be. And I have no clue how hard it would be to program this into the server, so Ant and Nick please let me know.

Dice is definitely a cheap and easy idea. Maybe have it in the shop so you can have something else to spend credits on.

Though, A problem might be people having issues with it being too op and luck-based, like how the tf2 community overall hates random critical hits. That's kind of the point of dice, though.

Seems like something we could add. Picking up coins is sort of like !dice, but only 3 players per round can get it. So i'm thinking we can leave the coin pickups as "good" options and !dice could contain positive and negative outcomes.

How often should !dice or !rtd be able to be used?

Also, please post any other Deathrun-related positive/negative outcomes that have not been mentioned above already.

This is what i have so far:
  1. +50 HP
  2. -50 HP
  3. 2x speed
  4. 0.5x speed
  5. 0.5x gravity
  6. 10 secs invincibility
  7. receive smoke grenade
  8. receive flash bang

I like a cooldown of two minutes, but whatever sounds best.

Timebomb, freezebomb, and firebomb are also pretty easy negative/neutral dice outcomes that would compliment getting the nades.
