Image to Script Converter [Java] [UPDATE 1.1]

This is a project Smacked (Blake) started with Blagho. Then I took it and added some things like the jFrame (GUI), file splitter, better waits and stuff like that. I hope you all like it :)

Link: http://matisuploads.com.ar/ImgToScript/ It is Open Source so feel free to edit the code, but give credit :). I included all the files, a compiled version and some examples.

It is highly recommended to put the image you want to convert in a folder, otherwise your desktop or the folder you have the image at will be "spammed" with .cfg files!
Oh and this was made with eclipse so the workstation folder is imgtoscript in case you didn't know! Merry Christmas, enjoy!

Tip: You can add cool effects using RenderFX. RenderFX 12 looks nice.

WARNING: Always make sure to remove it from the server you're on by typing ent_fire FILENAMEHERE_* kill.

Changelog:

Code: Select all

1.1 - Added Transparency Support.
1.0 - Initial Release.
Reloaded.-

It's open source so you could do it yourself :P But I'll check it tomorrow.

The program is now updated to version 1.1. You can now choose if you want to use transparency or not. You will get a menu after you select the file.

Is it better to break our own fingers on the keyboard with ctrl-c + ctrl-v? I faced that problem.
What i need is a hammer to script converter, as i wasted in total 8 hours of my life converting to builds and getting sick with my finger and must stop playing computers for 2 days.

Here comes real life injuries.

Scripting normally doesn't give injuries.
Such repetition on long term can create bad health problems, thus stopping us on our goal to script. If we continue, we are getting more and more injured, and less we will recover. So this program offers this kind of help, it's not directly giving us a random image, it's because you entered a picture in it, so you are the source. Except if it's not ur image, except if it's not your camera or whatever... I know there's a limit, just to show where it is.

And blagho doesn't seems very on the side of anti-sharing.

I'm anti-sharing when it comes to new scripters, but with people like Reloaded I don't mind sharing or helping out.(Usually people I share with I given up what wherever it was.)

Tell you the truth I do give some direct code and scripts when teaching new scripters, but I always explain what the code does and how to use it. (Hasn't failed yet.)

As for me i started by checking line by line what they were doing.
I'm not the kind of person that notice the instructions, like, in a supermarket i search for something, ill not watch any notification panels, ill just go see everywhere, if i see a similar product i search for 2 minutes until i see it, or until i ask someone for help, and oit was straight infront of me.

It's always touched when it comes to teaching new players, because we don't really know them, nd most likely just give up because we don't give them our big scripts.
I don't want to ethernize on this subject so ill shut up, i don't want it to go out topic.

I think ill take the source codes of this and learn a bit more java single files creating, maybe i can make some nice stuffs ;D
(and it would help me to have a base of single program creating as i want to go in programming classes; kind of essential...)
