A map that I actually am trying to do.

This map was to be based of the tv show "Wipeout" but due to technical errors, I thought of ideas from it.
It is based on true focus on patience. Slow down in order to pass the traps, speed through and you won't know what's going on!
Total of 12 controlled traps.

The pictures are outdated but don't look very different than now, the file I gave you is much better than the pictures show:

So far, all traps have no bugs I hope.

I suggest making water underneath with a container so it doesn't look like the water is just there by it self, where the rebels stand/traps are and making a second wall on the other side so that pro players cannot jump around a trap if they have a good strafe. I also want you to make 2 other endings otherwise people will get bored of the only 1 that is available, try to make BHOP and Knife so people get a range of endings to choose from. Make more traps too and also try adding some displacements so the map doesn't just look like minecraft blocks. :P Good luck making the map and I hope you consider my ideas.

Looks very nice, simple traps and looks not laggy:D

In the map, there is no water under, but there is a platform under it so the pics dotn show it, but in reality it has a red platoform.
If i could figure out how to do teleporting, I could do a bhop and my own ending.

Select the block tool and create a block. Select it and press "ctrl + t" on it. Then a window should pop up. In the class section select. "Trigger_teleport."
Now select the entity tool (above block tool) create an entity and double click it so a window pops up. Under class section choose "info_teleport_destination". Name it, call it something like Rebels_end_bhop_des. Now go back to the "trigger_teleport" and where it says "Remote Destination write" the destination name that we just gave to the "info_teleport_destination". So we type in Rebels_end_bhop_des now select the "Flags" tab near the top of the window and tick the box which says "Clients" you have now made a working teleporter, well done!
Place the trigger_teleport where you want the rebels to teleport from. (You can re-size the block to fit in a door way or something.)
Place the info_teleport_destination where you want the rebels to teleport to.

I've test the map so Maybe you could put the player in such a way that they look forward.

and i hope u add BHOP at the end and "Noob" so combines are in a box, cause only old is boring ;/

But nice Map. This map is not lagging so perfect :D

Please don't add a noob ending. Nobody wants to be combine if the rebels keep picking noob. I like the "no floor" design, your map looks great.

But the ending with "Noob" is just a ending for Players who dont want do BHOP or OLD so theire finished the round faster.... in all its just a other kind of ending ;)
and if the combines isn't able to kill the rebels with the butons so its not the problem of the Rebel

Oh boy, I did am major overhaul on my map!
(Thanks for telling me how to do teleoporters) I made two new modes and fixed some traps.

Fixed:
All spike traps
Troll face
Blocked of some areas so people cant strafe jump over some traps

NEW!

Rainbow laser trap

Bhop (very small but will increase in size, its like two jumps but will expand later)

Unique Race (People who love to challenge their bhop skills should choose this! Trust me, this mode is only good for bhoppers!)

Added doors to modes (locks others on selected door)


Since the race mode is pretty huge, the maps fps is dropped a little, but its not too laggy, so everyone should be okay. :D

And BHOP...Small bhop... I got an idea that is being worked on,it'll be like this small bhop shown here thats currently in the map:

Small right? Well I decided that you will race to the middle and you teleport to a bigger bhop and then when you go to that bhop's middle, another bigger bhop! it'll be three levels! I Like this idea!


So what do you think so far? Can't wait what else can come up!

The place where people can strafe over: create invisible walls so it looks better ;D

just fixed some stuff and added another mode. It's a classic, NOOB!!! :o

Anyway, I did that thing where when you finish the mini bhop, you get the giant bhop!
