I have lost my password to my steam acc and am unable to get on so, I that my admin application will be but on hold, I do not know when ill be back on, this was a bad summer for me My PC broke now my password is lost.

Quick tip: Every important username & passwords, should be written down somewhere safe.
It also allows you to use different passwords for security, and still be able to keep track of them.

It was broken and now he lost his password. :p

You should be able to log in as the way Ant said.
One time,I forgot my password and also forgot to update my email address so I couldn't get that email :/
It took 3weeks for them to get back to me but you have no problem as long as you have your email working.

Yeah I tried it but it was when I had a yahoo account and it was deleted so ill get a new account and need to re buy all my stuff now I can buy new stuff because I couldn't before because my old account didn't have e-mail so this is bitter sweet. And re-add all my friends, make a new profile logo, and create a new profile page...

Can't you just re-create the yahoo email account or contact their support?

Solution will be the same as my case then.
You don't need to do all that.
You just have to contact steam support then tell them you wanna change your email address but the address you used to use is deleted so you can't get a confirmation email.
After they confirm your last email address,they can update your email address then you can finally log in.
Again,they took 3weeks for me -_-
You need to be patient...good luck.

or be clever if you have a cd key too on of you're games then use that too recover you're account ,)

Well, I don't buy CD keys anymore either on the net or in a shop for the simple reason that twice I bought it in a shop, twice the CD-Key was stolen somehow and wasted money these days.

Therefore, I'm buying all my games on Steam.
