Maybe because a lot of players join the Server now...

If you think it's ddos then you can do these steps i do:
- look for ppl with high ping and probably with low hours.
- kick them and tell them to reconnect.
- if the servers start lagging again, then you can try giving him a ban.
I've done this once and took one attacker down.

The lag lasted about 10-20 seconds.
But it was f*cking hardcore.

I think it would be great to add an higher ping limit.If the one we have atm isn't working well with everyone then maybe Ant/Nick should start to develop a new one.

I think ping limit is 320 or something.
I got kicked few times in the past.

About DDos, I tried to search something to block it...Nothing seems to, but I have found some things that could work, I'm not a pro scripter so I let that the links, Ant/Nick and other scripters can take a look at it if they want...It might worth it.

Tho, the safest & easiest solution, is to ban the DDoser, but then for newbies it might be hard to detect one.
